1. Competition Description
The Green Campus Challenge is a consultancy-based competition that invites students to act as environmental consultants and evaluate the sustainability performance of their own campus. Participants will identify the strengths, weaknesses, and gaps in current sustainability practices and propose structured, innovative, and practical solutions.
Teams will present their ideas through a pitch deck, simulating a real-world consulting scenario, and defend their recommendations before a panel of experts.
2. Eligibility
Open to students from all colleges (Undergraduate and above).
3. Participation Details
- Team-based participation
- Team size: Minimum 2 members, Maximum 4 members
- Participation fee: Free of cost
4. Competition Structure
The competition will be conducted in two rounds.
5. Round-wise Specifications
Round 1: Online Submission
- Submission must be made through a Google Form
- Submit a ZIP folder named after your team, containing:
- A PDF (maximum 300 words) covering:
- Overview of the campus sustainability problem(s) identified
- Key strengths and weaknesses of the campus in terms of sustainability
- Proposed focus area(s) for improvement
- A brief idea of the solution framework to be developed
- Supporting images
- Relevant videos
- A PDF (maximum 300 words) covering:
- Deadline: 10th March 2026
✅ Shortlisted teams will qualify for Round 2.
Round 2: Offline Pitch Presentation
- Venue: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
- Shortlisted teams will present in front of a panel of judges.
- Each team will be given 10 minutes to:
- Present their pitch deck
- Explain the problem analysis, proposed solutions, and implementation roadmap
- Judges may ask questions during or after the presentation.
6. Prize Pool
🏆 Total Prize Pool: ₹30,000
7. General Rules
- All submissions must be original and prepared by the participating team.
- Teams must adhere to the specified time limits and submission deadlines.
- Any form of plagiarism or misrepresentation will result in disqualification.
- The decision of the judges and organizing committee will be final and binding.
- Organizers reserve the right to use submitted content for academic or promotional purposes with due credit.
