Sustainable Fashion Show

1. Competition Description

EcoVogue aims to promote eco-conscious fashion and innovative design thinking. Participants will showcase outfits created using sustainable concepts, materials, or upcycled elements while highlighting environmental responsibility, creativity, and conscious design practices.

2. Eligibility

Open to students from all colleges (Undergraduate and above).

3. Participation Details

• Team-based participation
• Team Composition:
  • 1 Designer
  • 1 Model
• The same person may act as both designer and model.
• Teams may have more than two members unofficially; however, only the designer and model will be present on the event day.
• The designer and model may belong to different colleges.
• Participation fee: Free of cost
• Registration via Google Form

4. Competition Structure

The competition will be conducted in two rounds.

5. Round-wise Specifications

Round 1: Abstract Submission

• Submission Mode: Google Form
• For multiple entries (e.g., one designer with more than one model), submit the Google Form separately for each entry.
• Submission Format: PDF
• File Naming: Team Name
• Word Limit: 200–250 words
• Deadline: 10th March 2026

The abstract must include:

1. Concept and design of the outfit
2. Materials planned to be used
3. Sustainability aspect and motive behind the design
4. Optional reference image or sketch (AI-generated sketches allowed; the idea behind it must be clearly explained)

✅ Selected teams will be informed via email.

Round 2: Live Showcase

• Event Date: 29th March 2026
• Venue: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

Schedule:

• Teams must arrive one hour before their assigned rehearsal slot.
• Rehearsal: Approximately 5 minutes per team (final timing subject to number of shortlisted teams).
• Live Showcase: Each team will have 6 minutes to:
  • Walk the ramp and showcase the outfit
  • Explain the design concept
  • Describe the sustainability aspect
  • Share the inspiration behind the creation

⚠️ Music: Teams must submit their music files in advance. A penalty will be imposed for exceeding the 6-minute time limit.

6. Prize Pool

🏆 Total Prize Pool: ₹20,000

7. Outfit & Material Guidelines

• Outfits must be sustainably designed using upcycled, recycled, eco-friendly, or low-waste materials.
• Ready-made commercial outfits are not permitted.
• Vulgar or inappropriate designs will lead to disqualification.
• Participants must manage their own costumes and accessories.
• Teams are responsible for any malfunctions or accidents during the showcase.

8. General Rules

• Outfits must be original and created by the participants.
• AI-generated sketches may be used only if the idea behind them is clearly explained.
• No inappropriate content is allowed.
• Participants must adhere strictly to timelines and rehearsal schedules.
• Participants are responsible for any accidents, malfunctions, or damages during the event.
• The decision of the judges and organising committee will be final and binding.
